Margaret River has again featured in the awards at the recent London International Wine Challenge 2010
With Palmer Wines Winning two awards, a Silver medal for their 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon and bronze medal for their 2007 Shiraz.
Palmer wines received comments on their wines from the judges
Cabernet Sauvignon on its Dark fruits with minty nose, elegant with good balance.
Shiraz being a Big rich wine with spice and fruit on the nose and palate. Generous weight and richness with soft acidity and moderate tannins. Good length.
Its a credit to the region and Palmer Wines being recognised world wide

A Family History - Hard work & creative winemaking
Established by Stephen and Helen Palmer in 1977 as one of the pioneer vineyards in the Margaret River region, the initial planting on the banks of the fertile Wilyabrup River included chardonnay, semillon, sauvignon blanc, and a small amount of cabernet sauvignon and merlot. Hard work and creative winemaking soon paid dividends, and Palmer Wines collected many awards, building an enviable reputation. Over the years further vines have been established within the heart of the Margaret River wine country producing a wide range of spectacular wines.
Palmers Wines team aim to excel in producing the ultimate wine to be enjoyed by epicureans from around the world.
Please note that our products are sold on a carton basis only (twelve bottles in each) with the exception of our gold award winning 2006 Chardonnay.
